It's been a week at ISB and already my student email inbox is already full of emails. Some emails have stuff about the various clubs that are being formed while some are about stuff about various activities that few students are undertaking.The sheer volume of emails has just overwhelmed me and has left me more confused than before. The most irritating aspect is when the person who "seems" to be interested in the proposed activties marks his reply to everyone. Clearly the need of the hour is for"Email Etiquete" to be taught to and learnt by professionals.
In an age of "Information overload" maybe we should take a step back and reduce the noise that is already present in the wired world.....
Couldn't agree with you more. There's so much that we're bombarded with across info channels around us... its a wonder we even get by having intelligent conversations with people. I guess we humans do have an awesome ability to filter out the nonsense afterall :)
